UTE bike sharing system installed in the city of Koprivnica
As part of the project "Bicycle oasis" funded by the European Union through the IPA cross-border program Hungary - Croatia, this month in the city of Koprivnica launched the first phase of the project of public bicycles BicKo.
With this, UTE d.o.o., the supplier of the entire system, has once again confirmed its leading position among providers of bicycle-sharing systems in this part of Europe.
BicKo is a bike sharing system consisting of seven stations deployed throughout Koprivnica, and each station consists of a steering pylon and 12 stands for storing bicycles. A total of 60 specially designed anti-vandal bicycles equipped with GPS and electronics that enable locking outside stations were procured in the project. All stations are covered by video surveillance.
It is important to emphasize that the entire project is Croatian production because UTE d.o.o. made the development of the system, including the production, installation and commissioning of all elements (bicycles, bicycle reception stands, pylons for station control).
