New bike-sharing system in Hungary

Kaposvár Tekergő is a new bike-sharing system in Hungary, and it is also the largest bike-sharing system that UTE d.o.o. installed outside of Croatia. The bike-sharing system consists of a total of 170 bikes available for rent, located at 18 locations throughout the city of Kaposvár.

The bicycles, striking yellow in color, work with electric assistance, and represent one of the environmentally conscious transport systems. This mode of transport makes Kaposvár environmentally friendly for the daily life of permanent residents and visitors.

The Kaposvár Tekergő bike-sharing system can be used by registering on the Go2Bike application. In the payment method/card submenu, a bank card is assigned via the SimplePlay system, and the minimum amount determined by the Operator is paid to start using the bike-sharing system. After that, users have the right to rent a bike through the Go2Bike application and have an overview of all locations where they can return the bike to the dock to end the rental.

At one of the two bike-sharing stations with "smart" totems (Virágfürdő, Vasútállómás), users can rent a bike without registration, with the option of paying directly through the OTP terminal.
